Help! my Samsung NP300E5A-A01UB is having problems with my C

I just recently switched to Cox internet, before i had AT&T. My laptop worked fine with the AT&T service, but now that I have Cox it is having trouble connecting. It stalls and will not go to the web pages and says that i am connected, but when I go into the connection settings it says that I am not. I called Cox and they said that it was my Norton Antivirus software or another program. So I uninstalled it and it did not fix the problems. Seeing that did not fix the problem I called Samsung. They told me that I needed to reboot my computer completly, so I did. After the reboot it ran fine and smooth, for about 20 minutes and then it went back to running like junk. So I did another reboot and this time uninstalled all the useless store apps and Norton, that worked for another 20 mintues. I went into the connection settings and disconnected from my wifi and reconnected and that worked but not for long and then it was back to junk. I brought my laptop over to my friends where they have AT&T and the internet works fine, no stall. What is wrong with my computer?
