How do you replace the integrated graphics card?

when my computer starts up, it gets these white lines...many of them...and from the sounds it makes..(of which is none..)
the computer isn't working...but some times you hear that start up sound with the grey screen
I assume its the graphics card
but how do I replace it on a laptop?????????????????????????
I found the manual online to open this baby up however it never mentioned the integrated graphics card
(and when I say open, I mean down to the very bone)
I assume I have to buy some of that anti static stuff, and I 'm up to the job
or I could pay some people to do it
and it will be my first time if I do it
but my question is...how do I know WHAT my graphics card is
where to find it because it's integrated
and how to take it out
and your opinion if IT IS the graphics card?
maybe something else is the problem?
and that grey screen usually changes color and darkens over time
it gets more/less lines
but it changes
it's a Compaq Presario C700
I just saw that the network adapters aren't starting up, could that be the problem?
By the way
It's a Dual core 32-bit os
any other info that would be usefull?
