No sound from laptop to TV with HDMI connections

I have a toshiba laptop, windows 7, satellite a505-6005. I get great video to my Panasonic plasma via the HDMI cable on netflix, but I get no sound. In the sound manager I have: 1) Speakers, Realtek Hi Def Audio and 2) Realtek Digital output (Realtek Hi Def Audio) but no HDMI driver device listed on the list. The sound comes through the Speakers. When I change the default sound to the Realtek Digital Sound, still no sound comes out.
Any advice on this would be helpful, thanks

While that gets HDMI sound over my HDMI cable I also have to push up the volume on the HP HDMI display. Also there is an option on the HP HDMI Menu to allow analog input versus HDMI for sound.

Since there is no model number or manual in your post I can't look into this further. Try adding more details and hope someone looks at this a little deeper.
