As to the track pad I use an external mouse so it's never been a problem.

My other thought is HP's service issues. Last year I lost a laptop at just 3 months after I bought it to their service. I found a bug in the system (it won't boot with my smart phone plugged in) and they took it back, and upon return it would lock up in 5 minutes. HP walked on the repair and at 9 months I called it quits with HP. If they can't fix their own products you have to worry about them.

I hope the new CEO of HP rights the company, soon.

It seems the products coming out of HP the past couple years have been hit or miss, due to the unfocused leadership.

But at least I've personally seen good reports of Probook 4530s, firsthand, and 4540s is an upgrade of that.

Anyone have a terrible Probook 4530s? It seems to be the most popular Probook in HP's lineup.
