Samsung NP700Z5C-S01UB ? Reviews?

Anyone have any input on this Samsung laptop?
Came across it at Bestbuy for $999 plus tax and extended warranty.
One thing I was concerned with was the optical drive - it isn't the slide out drawer - which I've never had issues with on any other laptop - has this type been used before? Will it last?
Do you think it is a good replacement for a desktop?

Is there anyplace you can recommend for a lower price?

Can you recommend another laptop with equal specs for less?

Anyone?

The only nit I have with Samsung is the keyboard letters wore off faster than other makers.

A good desktop replacement?

I want to get back into photoshopping and artistic genre and I want to move on from this HP mini 210. So is the samsung a good way to go for my needs of should I get a Desktop??

Here I still have a desktop for heavy video work. For everything else the office and more we use laptops.

slot loaders and my opinion there aren't enough. I looked at the reviews at Best Buy (you should look at those also) and one guy had a problem with a CD not ejecting but I've had that problem with the conventional CD/DVD's. I did see a couple of people that had bad experiences with customer support but every compant has complaints of some kind.
