Best SSD laptop for battery life, Intel i7?

I'm overwhelmed with all of the laptops on the market. I'm looking to buy a portable machine with a SSD and Intel i7, the more RAM the better, cost isn't a concern. Battery life is important.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction? I've been looking at some Lenovo and ASUS products.

Battery life continues to be on the average laptop about 300 cycles. Apple on some models pushed that to 1,000 cycles so check Apple and their long life 1,000 cycle models.

It's possible you mean how many hours on a charge (running time?) so for that it's a discussion about battery options that can get you past the usual day of running time.

System with the i7

tend to have the most powerfull components which means it takes more power to power those components. If you want a maximum battery life i7 look at the Ivy Bridge processors.

If you want a SSD only then there are some smaller screen laptops which will get better battery life then the 17.3" systems. But the 17.3" tend to come with more memory and a SSD and HD. Typically SSD is bezst used for basically OS and HD is used for reading and writing data.
