Hi!
I'm in the market for a desktop replacement, and I'm a bit overwhelmed by all of the options I have. However, I have a couple things that I think I definitely want in a computer, so I was hoping you guys could lead me in the right direction. I may be doing video editing in college, so I need a computer that could handle that.
Here's what I want:
-No more than $1500
-Windows 7
-i7 processor
-8GB RAM
-7200 RPM hard drive, preferably 500GB
-A good graphics card. I have the Adobe CS4 Master Suite, not CS6, but I have been looking at these graphics cards
-Something that is fast and will last!
The following things are not a priority:
-Looks (although it would be a BIG plus!)
-Weight
-Screen size
I was looking at this Lenovo, customized to the specs above, but I'm not sure if this would be a good computer for college. I have also been looking at the HP Envy line, which is completely different from the ThinkPad. I'm not sure if the ThinkPad is more than I need...and the Envy line is just so pretty! As you can see I'm in need of direction.
Sorry that this post is so long! Any input is greatly appreciated!
