I recently decided to purchase a laptop mainly so that I had something to bring with me when I am not at home (business travel/vacation, house sitting, etc) and for when I am working from home but am too lazy to sit in front of the desktop and want to work from my couch ![]()
I wasn't looking to spend a ton of money ($400 - $500), did some research and have narrowed it down to two.
Dell 15N-2729
-or-
Dell 14RN-1227
The specs and price are the same, with the below being the main differences:
*14RN: 14" screen, 6GB of memory (can be expanded to 8GB), Bluetooth enabled, Wireless-N, Energy Star Qualified
*15N: 15.6" screen, 4GB of memory (can be expanded to 8GB), NO Bluetooth enabled, Wireless B+G+N, 1 half mini card PCMCIA slot
Do I go with the larger screen and add memory at a later date (which I'm not completely sure I'd be comfortable doing myself)? Or is bluetooth and not having to deal with adding memory worth the trade-off of the smaller screen?
I keep waivering and going back and forth between the two, so I figured I'd throw it out there to people that actually know what they're talking about ![]()
Thanks for your help!
