A few questions about Toshiba Satellite L7770

I'm looking to buy a laptop, have an idea as to what I need it for and I've even found one that I'm hoping will do. I just have a few questions about it.

This is the machine I'm looking at, it's at the high end of my price range and seems up to snuff, however one of the key things I'm looking to use this for is a production suite for my music. I have no idea what kind of on-board sound card this thing would have, if anyone can provide details on the sound device it would help. I need something that's compatible with directsound and ASIO. I also need enough processing power to support music production and playback for mixing and effects and such. Forgive me if I come off as not knowing what I'm talking about, I probably don't. That's why I'm here. If any additional details are needed I'm happy to provide them. Thanks in Advance!

It's a set of chips to make sounds. Usually good enough for 99+ per cent of us. Speakers are a compromise so I think you should use your favorite headphones or external speakers.
