Best Media/Entertainment laptop for an affordable price?

I basically want a laptop that is good at playing music (good speakers), video playback, and surfing the internet fast. I don't think I need a ton of memory. Also, I would like for battery life to be decently long, but that's probably not even going to be an issue anyways. For the price, I would hope for it to be under $600. And, no Apple products please.

a tablet may work. I have a Galaxy Tab and I can't believe the sound that comes out of the speakers. The new tablets are coming out with true Hi-Def screens.

A tablet isn't exactly what I'm looking for. I also would like a qwerty keyboard that is physical. And I want the microsoft office stuff.

expence because if installed on a new machine it's a trial version. There are all alternative (free) offices typr applications on all platforms.
