Windows 7 forum: Stem32 User??

Stem32 User??

I'm working on a clients laptop, and when they log off there is a pop up saying there is someone else logged on, and by logging off they could lose data. The problem is that they are the only user on the computer. Under User Accounts he shows up as the only user but in Task Manager there is a user named System32 which wasn't there a couple of weeks ago. Any Ideas??

A service could be under that name.

You bring up a good question. Microsoft has had a decade to cure the log off screen issue where it tells us some task is not ending as well as your message.

Do you think they had enough time to polish this and not confuse users and consultants?

Actually I'm not confused. I've seen this for years and this bus ride is getting a little long.
