Unable to download any files from ie9

I'm unable to download any files from ie9. After showing 99% download, i get a pop up stating "your file couldn't be downloaded". My system configuration is given below. Please help. If i use other browsers like chrome, firefox its working and files get downloaded.

Lenovo Laptop
Pentium Dual Core T4500
32 bit operating system
Windows7

Try Firefox or Chrome

When one browser doesn't work, try a different one. Download Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org or Chrome from http://www.google.com/chrome and see if you have better luck with one of them.
