When I click on a link I get a blank page

I,m using w7 64 bit. On about half of the web sites I go to if I click on a link I get a blank page. I reset everything to default settings but no joy. I remember reading about this in the past and it is a windows setting but I forget which. Anyone??

Try Firefox and/or Chrome

Try downloading Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and/or Chrome from http://www.google.com/chrome and see if they do the same thing.
