I am on an ASUS A53E purchased in the U.S. on 64bit Windows 7.
I recently had to come to Japan for personal reasons and was not able to take my wireless keyboard from my home to here. So I purchased a Logitech Wireless Keyboard (model: k270) in Japan and have been trying to use it.
But my problem is, the Logitech Keyboard is obviously laid out for Japanese users, where some of the keys are different (i.e. 2 is ", 7 is ', where in the U.S. 2 is @, 7 is &)
I know that switching my keyboard settings from English to Japan in the regional/languages settings will solve this issue, but if I do that, that creates another issue, the native keyboard built into the laptop now type something different than what the key displays.
Is there a way to keep the native keyboard on the English setting, while making the wireless keyboard on the Japanese setting?
Thank you in advance.
