External Hard Drive T

Whenever I power up my computer, my external hard drive does not always come on line. I have to unplug and replug it for it to come on line. What is the problem?

Those may need "more power." And there are desktop front ports that have been trouble for years. Fix? Use the rear ports.

If my answers don't apply that's because I have to guess if it's one of the usual. Always supply full details so members have the full details.
