Really,see i know nothing about this computer stuff.Cause i want a camcorder but i want one i can put on dvd's that my dvd player will play,one that's also compatible with my pc.I'm lost.

But it's the software that I find most to struggle with. Try the current low cost video creation tools like Adobe Elements or Corel VideoStudio.
I can't test every camcorder but the current versions seem OK with AVCHD content.
And remember, you are putting this on a Video DVD which is STANDARD DEFINITION. Why I wrote this is because some folk buy all this HD stuff and then complain about their Video DVD on the 60 inch screens.

high definition isn't always the best way to go with a camcorder? See i didn't purchase one yet but as soon as i find one that's compatible and easy to use i'm getting it.As long as the reviews are good.My problem is $ i can go about as high as $325,there must be a decent on that i could buy.
I think HD is the way to go with a camcorder.

What I think folk are missing is to try the new ways to create video content. That is, for many BluRay players I can put the AVCHD file on the DVD and play it in HD. As this area is not standardized I can't write much more than that. But folk that go and make a Video DVD must have some other goal than HD in mind?

I can get by with players such as XBox, PS3, PCs, Apples, many set top boxes and of course BluRay players.
HD play is possible but as each may require a different process to get the content there I can't write it all here.
