Windows7 tip does not work for me

My new laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium is as follows:
Toshiba Satelite C850 PSKC9A-01N00Q,Intel Dc Celeron B820
2GB,320Gb 15.6"WXGA Glare Screen,DVDRW
DL,Usb2.0/30
WiFi, Lan,HDMI,Wabcam,Windows 7 Home Prem.
Card Reader,

I am new to Windows 7 so was reading John Wilkinson's tips which are indeed helpful to find my way around.

One of the issues I would like to adjust is System Restore. I tried the following tip but was told it was an invalid command.

Is there some reason you can't use the slider?

So you typed
vssadmin resize shadowstorage /for=C: /on=C: /maxsize=5GB
followed by the enter key and got an error about invalid command.

- Did you include all 5 spaces in this command line. I'll show them with <space> here:
vssadmin<space>resize<space>shadowstorage<space>/for=C:<space>/on=C:<spade>/maxsize=5GB

If still no luck, type only vssadmin and see what the help says.
