The make, model of the machine and the details. Why it matters is if I take a common desktop and put a gt440 into it it could have issues such as power and cooling. Your post didn't reveal if this is a machine that is new to the game or if it used to work "until I do _____".

As it stands it sounds like the usual PC in need of repairs or more upgrades.

the computer is a dell vostro 200 and yes thew card meets thye power requirements of the computer and i have had it for about a year give or take used to play all my games fine not with games like fallout skyrim and diablo 3 and wow it grashes i am starting to think it's a bad graffics card

And unless you did something like leave the cover off, the stock case could result in too high temperatures.

In this case I think you need a computer specialist to help you correct the machine and help you get it all working properly. Why do I write that? There are a lot of areas folk need the one to one support on. Such as power supply ratings in Watts does not mean the power supply is up to the task. Folk rarely learn about the "rails" of the power supply and more.

for the first 5 or six months i have had the card in the computer it worked fine no crashes this has just started

If you dive deeper we have to cover topics such as electrolytic capacitors that age and again age more quickly as you pull the higher loads.

As I said, you appear to be the type that needs a specialist that is good with explaining all this one on one.

Most folk learn this the hard way. That is, they'll dig in their heels and suffer for years until they meet the right person that can explain it all.

i take this computer out to the shooting range use it for target practice save up my money and get a decent gaming computer lol
