Windows 7 forum: How to recover a e-mail from my recycle bin

There's no recycle bin in Windows Live Mail (WLM). If you mean the Windows recycle bin, Bob's answer is fine, but my question then is how you did get that mails into it.

If you delete an item (not using shift-del) in WLM it's moved to the Deleted Items folder. And it stays there until you either delete it from there also, or until you empty the recycle bin. One of the options of WLM to empty the recycle bin when you exit the program. After that, it can't be recovered.

Don't you have a backup of your mail folders to retrieve that specific mail from?

PS. The above is only true for POP3 mail. For an IMAP account it's different.

If you could also use a professional recovery software to help. Because , i have ever encountered this similar problem, i don't know exactly the windows ' recovery application, i just used Recuva Data Recovery Free after searching for it in the internet, it is really useful and free for everyone. When you deleted mail from windows live they doesn't go to recycle bin. To recover those mails read http://www.piriform.com/recuva/features/recover-deleted-emails and download Recuva software its free and scan the drive for recovering deleted emails

If you have a POP3 account the email may still be on your internet providers mail server. I have roadrunner and use WLM with a POP3 account. I set up the mail server in WLM and the SMTP server addresses in my account. I have it setup not to delete the email once its downloaded so I get all my emails on my tablet, phone and other computer where I have an email client. I can also log onto my email through the web

For roadrunner it's webmail.cfl.rr.com cfl refers to central florida and then I use login to my account and I can delete the email forever from there.

If i checked delete email ounce downloaded I wouldnt get it at multiple devices.
