I have Windows 7 oporating system...4GB Ram 500GB Hard Drive and a new Samsung Series 3 NP350U2A-A01US Latop.

My problem is I use Internet Explorer 9 but it is constantly crashing on me and then restarting, I dont know whats wrong it it is really agrivating. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Internet Explorer 9 crashes

Hi rc06

IE9 might crash even if you have toomany addons to it.
Please refer to the following methods to troubleshoot the IE crash issue.

1. Reset IE9.

2. Perform Clean Boot and disable security software to test the issue.

3. Disable Accelerated graphics
IE9 supports Full hardware acceleration for text, graphics, and video to provide a rich web experience. By default, hardware acceleration (GPU rendering) is enabled in IE9 to offer next-generation experiences with GPU-powered HTML5 graphics. However, it sometimes will cause IE crash.

To disable it, go Internet options -> Advanced tab -> select Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering.

If the issue occurs again, please check Application Log in Event Viewer.
You may also uninstall IE9 and use IE8 if you are comfortable using IE8. You will find more details about it at the below link:

I never had this issue on my old laptop when I was using IE 8...is thatmore stable and if so can I install that and use it instead of IE9, I checked in Installed updates but it never had IE8 so I dont know if that is possible. Thanks for your help.

Just A Thought... Tried A Different Browser?

Yes, I understand you want to get IE 9 working and resetting it to it's default configuration is a good step toward doing so, but many prefer other browsers as a backup..

Free browsers such as Firefox, SeaMonkey, Opera, etc. are easy to try and you may just find you like them better than the Microsoft version for normal web surfing.

Just and example:

Sorry for delay reply, I recommend you should first un-install and re-install your Internet explorer, even after if you couldn't get it fix then must format your PC once and then try it.
