Computer panel shows up after completion of startup?

Hey all, I recently purchased a new laptop with windows 7 installed, it was running smooth and fine in the beginning until (i believe is after a windows update) that after startup of window, my COMPUTER panel always opens by itself. I have reformatted the laptop for which i thought it was some kind of virus, then after a few windows update the problem still remain. Am i the only one having this problem? Does anyone know what the problem is? Thanks a lot

it's a common problem with no single cure. Let's read this link.

While that did solve it, I have no reason to pick this over any other of the other dozen solutions. This area is one where I dive into the areas they discussed to see what pops out at me.

tried to change the the regedit value but no luck, still on the quest of searching the answer. Really thx for the help you provided, will let u know if i ever can find a solution to my problem
