Manage updates with the Download App
I received a new computer as a gift yesterday |(with \Windows 7) and am having a heck of a time figuring things out. For instance.....i keep changing my home page to Yahoo.com and it immediately goes back to |yahoo.Canada. (I am in Canada, but do not want that as my home home page).
I also cannot find out how to access cut and paste capabilities and cannot figure out how to send an item from the internet to my email box........among other things.
any suggestions??????

Did you create a new admin capable account and start using that?
Also, copy and paste appears to break with some security suites and Skype. I have yet to find anyone guess which app causes it unless you tell all.

I;m slowly working my way through getting used to the new unit. I have figure4d out that some of the toolbarwas "missing":......and I am now able to find some of the missing programns.
|still perplexed by the yahoo.Canada thing though.....any ideas|??????????????

But the home page being locked is well discussed. Let's google how to unlock it.

So it appears that's a setting. No one expects us to know this.
As to your other issue, I'd try a new account and google for resizers.

Hello..unrelated issue but brand new |Lenovo desktop computer set up by a computer pro Thursday just gave me a blue screen telling me it had to be shut down. I didn;t get the entire info writtemn down before i restarted it.
\what mighht be going on????????
make it a warranty issue.

Be aware that Windows 7 bluescreens are still considered normal. Annoying but unless it does nothing but bluescreen, a statement that you won't use a Windows machine for mission critical work.
