Windows 7 bug and lag

Hello everyone. I have recently bought Asus N53SM laptop with windows 7 Ultimate OS. It runs very smooth and fast, but 3 days ago I experienced huge lag (nothing worked except the mouse), which forced me to shut down my laptop by pushing the power button. In addition, sometimes my task manager crashes. So now I del with this problem every day and it really bothers me that I am not able to experience my i7 and 4.00 GB of RAM in full speed.

Could you please suggest something or at least give some possible speculations on what I could have done wrong or might not have installed?

Task manager crashes?

I'd call Asus and see what they offer. Most likely they'll have you reload the OS and if it still crashes you'll have them repair the machine.

In parting I hope you used your canned air on the vents recently. On gamer laptops I'm going to write to do this monthly. On normal laptops about every 6 months.
