dump files

what are you suppose to do if dump files are all over your home screen. I had a friend I guess they downloads some game, "tangent games" they said the screen went black for a minute came back, and the screen is now full of dump files. I cant delete them from the screen and i did a disc cleanup and it still didnt remove them.
Any suggestions? anybody know how to take care of this?

the Desktop folder.

I assume you mean the Desktop, so look in C:\Users\{Username}\Desktop where {Username} is the name of the Windows account your friend logs into.

The files should be listed there. See if you can delete them.

If not, try booting into Safe Mode and navigating to the same folder and deleting them that way.

Tangent? Is that the old Wild Tangent games from years ago? If so I learned not to trust those as they planted files and things all over.

ok thank I'm going to try that and I'll let you know if it worked. Yes, also I meant the desktop. But overall I think it's a virus...a bad one! but also I believe that's what he said tangent games.
