1. what P U P issue? Where do I find this? And to answer the question, I do not know.
2. why do I want to put the .png on photobucker or flicker? I would think this is where the .png should be so that people can see it.
3. Why can't a person send an email to cnet directly with a problem instead of letting the whole world know?

2. Your choice. Since these forums don't support images, you may have to share them on photo sites.

put .png on flicker

1. Looked at link and it does not look like what I have.
2. put .png on flicker, file name is cnet.png, tag, I think is cnet. Though when I put cnet in search I did not find on the first page. flicker shows that I did upload the .png. Tried to find you on flicker as R. Proffett, Bob Proffett & could not.
3. I looked again on the cnet home page and other pages at the site and can not find anyway to reach these people.
4. if you subcribed to flicker, let me know if you find .png.

If you think there is a virus then just supply the link and I'll alert it.
There are TOOLBAR INSTALLERS in the Cnet downloads. You can avoid those by using the Direct Download.
So far, it sounds like the PUP issue.

I am sorry, but I do not understand what TOOLBAR INSTALLERS is all about. I do not want toolbar installers. That is not what this is about. It is about ZoneAlarm finding "not-a-virus;HEUR:Web Toolbar.Win32.InstallCore.gen" on my computer. And why cnet attached it with a virus. One of the files was "cnet2_123freesolitaire2011-v80-setup_exe.exe" and the other was "cnet2_CNET_TechTracker_Setup_exe.exe".
Anyway I found a way to email cnet via CBS and gave them the info and am now waiting to get them the .png.
You said "If you think there is a virus then just supply the link and I'll alert it." I do not know what the link is. All I know is that ZoneAlarm found the VIRUS and then cleaned it up.
I found what a PUP is. A PUP (potentially unwanted program) is a program that may be unwanted, despite the possibility that users consented to download it. PUPs include spyware, adware, and dialers, and are often downloaded in conjunction with a program that the user wants.
If this is true, then why is "cnet2_123freesolitaire2011-v80-setup_exe.exe" showing up as a VIRUS by ZoneAlarm?

Because Zonealarm has called it such. We know there's a lot of discontent about the CNET downloader and if you are not careful, you see a toolbar install.
My advice is to use the Direct Download and I take heat when I write I don't install Tech Tracker.
