I upgraded to W7 a few a few months ago. I obtained Quark Xpress v5 from PC World a few years as a free download. This program is a typesetting system which I had been using for a number of years when I was working.
Now that I am using W7 as an OS, I find that this version of Quark does not work - the few documents I have managed to set up and save have now disappeared from my system.<div>I contacted Quark support with the problem asking would it be possible for them to supply me with an older version of Quark compatible with W7 and which would be available as a free download. I am 73 years of age and I do not need the latest version with all the bells and whistles which the latest version has. All I need is the program which is compatible with W7 so that I can continue setting up odd documents for my grandchildren and family.
</div>My question is this: would anybody have a copy of Quark which would be suitable for me to use and also as a "freebie"?
I await any responses to this request.
Thanks all
