Windows 7 forum: How can I fix message pop-up saying, "Out of Memory at Line

I am not sure if this is a Javascrpt error or not. But nonetheless I did go to "tools, internet options, advanced" and note there are check marks already beside the two options, "Disable script errors." Also, lately, I have to keep hitting my refresh button as my screen hangs on a blank page when i do try to go to a website.

What can I do?

If so, try this;

Go to Start > All programs > Accessories > System Tools and then find "Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)", and click that.

This will open IE in it's Safe Mode option with all add-ons, toolbars and ActiveX disabled. This will allow you to test whether in this mode IE still causes problems. In this mode some web sites may not display properly and may not work as they should, but this is only for testing.

If you do not see the same problems in this mode as you surf, then this points to an add-on, a toolbar or ActiveX component that is causing the problems.

In that case, close that down, re-open IE in it's proper mode, then head over to Tools > Manage Add-ons. Disable all add-ons of every type.

Now, add-on add-ons back in, one at a time, until the problem resurfaces. When it does you will know which add-on is the problem and you can disable that or if it is an option, delete it.

Have you thought about downloading and installing any other browsers? It may be useful if ever IE breaks, as at least then you still have a browser which works so you can search for answers.

Thank you Mark. I will try your suggestions and get back to you on the results.

Meanwhile, you suggested that I try another browser. As mentioned, I have MSN Premium which uses MSN Explorer, which I use 98% of the time. Also have Internet explorer too of course but I wonder if these are actually one in the same.
If I were to download another browser such as Firefox, I imagine I would no longer have any of the same benefits of MSN Premium that I pay for. Is that correct?

Sorry Nancy I missed where you said you have both the MSN Browser and IE. I don't know much about the MSN browser except when i used it on my very first system back in 1995/96. I assume it s still used for closed community browsing, (or perhaps "Complete Community" would be a better term), the same way AOL used to be.

You need the MSB browser to sign in to MSN Premium and other browsers installed on your system will not affect that. In fact, you can have multiple browser types open and surfing at the same time, and they will completely ignore each other.
