Windows 7 repeatedly updates KB2468871 and KB2533523

Since Sept 17, 2011, each time I shut down I get the message that these updates are being installed. When I checked my up date history these two updates were successfully installed each time. How can I remedy this


inconvenience?

Microsoft gives free tech support for windows updates, have you contacted them for help?

There are few folk that need this framework. Maybe you can uninstall 4.0 and as a result fix this and more.

I Googled Windows Update support and called one number listed and was on-line with "PEGGY" for 2? hours.
After a remote connection I was told that I had numerous problems with
my machine and it was suggested that I purchase their (iYogi) product to
eliminate the problems. I finally decided to pay for 2 sessions ($75).
After they performed a cleanup I was assured that the problem was
eliminated. About 30 minutes later I did a complete shut down, not a
restart, and the identical problem arose.
I again called Iyogi for help. After another remote session the
technician turned off the auto install option and turned on the verify
before installing option. I told him that this did not solve the problem
just change it. I was then told that it was a Windows issue and there
wasn't anything they could do. Needless to say I requested a refund.

".NET programs are written to a specific version of the .NET Framework.
When one needs a version you don't have installed, it'll tell you and
refuse to install. There's no need to upgrade elsewise; and in fact it
will just take up more space."
