I have a HP G61-110SA laptop purchased in Dec 2009. It runs on Win 7 Home Premium SP1. The processor is a Pentium Dual Core T4300 with a speed of 2.10 GHz. The display adapter is a Mobile Intel 4 series express chipset.
It has served me relatively well up until about a month ago. It has gotten into the habit of freezing even when all I am doing is reading my mail and the frequency of freezing has increased. Also, last week, I found out that I can no longer watch mp4 files with window media player although I have been doing this in the past (k-lite codec pack). I can still watch the files with vlc but I prefer wmp and I want to try and fix the problem.
If anybody has any ideas, I would be happy to try them out.
Thanks
