Document stuck in queueand won't print in Windows 7

I am using a new HP DV7-3060US laptop, with Windows7 Home Premium 64 Bit, on a wireless home network with a Netgear WNR3500 router. I am printing to an HP Officejet 5500 which is on a Netgear PS121 multifunction USB print server. I had been able to print for two weeks but now I cant. I cannot delete a document from the print queue, and spoolsv.exe is taking 50% of CPU. The issue seemed to arise after I changed the router SSID and passwords and around the same time the PS121 print server software was installed on a second older laptop running Win XP. I uninstalled the PS121 software from the laptop and reinstalled using Netgears install Wizard. I could print a test page after installation. However, I cannot print any other document after installation. I have stopped the print spool service, deleted the 2 files on windows/system32/spool/printers and restarted the spool service. When I retry printing, using a simple text document, I get the same results - document stuck in the queue. Also, the PS121 wizard software is listed in the start menu\all programs, but I cannot open the software as Windows cannot find it. I reinstalled it a second time with the same results. Any ideas?
