FDISK was decent.

I remember when FDISK showed up in PC+MS-DOS 3.0 Finally a way to manage a hard disk. What more could we want than to create or destroy a partition?

Partition manager for Win 7

I have been useing a partition manager called (EASUSE PARTITION MASTER) and has sereved me well for several years there is a free virson at http://www.partition-tool.com/ it works with windows 7 very well you might give it a try.

Haven't had a great hopes of this. I manage my prtitions with the EASEUS Partition Master, free & reliable. You can get info about partition manager for Win 7 from the following link.

There are a few free partition managers out there.

Gparted is one i've used. Gparted works without OS. You stick the dvd in and it loads before the OS and lets you add, modify and delete partitions before the OS is loaded.

EASEUS Partition Master fyi also can creat a bootable disc that you can use to partition a new empty drive
