Calibration report using these settings:
[see below]

TV software/firmware version tested: 2.712

Below you'll find the settings I found best for viewing the Panasonic TC-L50E60 in a dim room via the HDMI input. Your settings may vary depending on source, room conditions, and personal preference. Check out the Picture settings and calibration FAQ for more information.

Calibration notes: As usual Panasonic's Cinema preset provided the best picture quality prior to any adjustments, although its grayscale was pretty plus-red especially in bright areas. The two-point grayscale control worked very well to address its issues, however, bringing every level under an error level of 2 (we consider anything under 3 "Good"). I tried using the 10-point grayscale, along with the 10-point gamma detail setting, to bring the numbers even closer to the ideal, but they were ineffective. Many IRE level readings remained unchanged even after I made large adjustments to the controls, and the gamma measurements in the brightest areas (which were most problemmatic) swung significantly from one measurement to the next, making adjustment moot. Fortunately gamma was very good overall in the normal 2.2 setting.
