Calibration report using these settings:

Below you'll find the settings I found best for viewing the Panasonic TC-L55DT60 in a dim room via the HDMI input. Your settings may vary depending on source, room conditions, and personal preference. Check out the Picture settings and calibration FAQ for more information.

Calibration notes: I cannot be certain that the sample we received hadn't been "tampered" with as straight out of the box the Cinema mode was very good -- unusually good. As Panasonic brought us one sample and deemed it unfit -- it wouldn't work as they anticipated during an inhouse demo -- you should take these settings with a grain of salt. Yet, if they work for you that's great!

The AI setting was inconsistent. While I was able to get a usable amount of light in Standard with a windowed screen it blew out to double (80 fL) with a full-white screen. The Sony on the other hand stayed consistent at 40 fL regardless of the window size. It's the difference between good dimming and poor dimming.

Enabling AI Min on the other hand got twice as dark than when not enabled but without the huge light boost on bright screens.
