Note that the main calibration was performed at about 150 hours into the lifespan of the TV. The TV's picture quality characteristics change over time, so at the 940 hour mark, to provide a comparison in the PND7000 review (http://cnet.co/pUjDLr), we re-calibrated the PND8000. Unfortunately those picture settings resulted in higher (worse) black levels than the TV is capable of, so after 1443 hours we again re-calibrated the TV.
