HDTV picture settings forum: Need calibration settings for a Sony KDL-46VE5

Here are the things I do not understand from the tv menus (kdl-46ve5):

CineMotion -

Automatically detects film-based content and applies an inverse 3-2 pull-down process and a motion estimation engine to improve film content and de-interlacing performance.

Off
Turns off CineMotion.

Auto 1
(Auto for
model KDL-40SL150)
Applies an inverse 3-2 pull-down process along with motion estimation to obtain the smoothest picture quality and reduces artifacts of moving images. Select for standard use.

Auto 2
Applies only the inverse 3-2 pull-down process. Picture movement will be similar to the original film.
(this option is not available with model KDL-40SL150)

Is cinemotion the mode to watch 24p movies in?
When do I use the other modes?

Game Mode

Select On to optimize the enjoyment of fast paced video games where response time is important. Select Off to disable this feature.

What does it do? Does it only improve the response time?

Motionflow

Motionflow technology delivers moving images with a clarity and smoothness never seen before in LCD television. It recreates the necessary information to display scenes with a natural flow of movement and free from flickering.

Off

Use this setting whenever the High and Standard settings are displaying video devices (e.g., when there are ghost images).

Standard

Displays crisp moving images. Use this setting for standard use.

High

Displays crisper images for film-based content.

Is standard for 24p movies? Or is High for 24p movies?
I assume Motionflow is the 120Htz mode?
Since Motionflow is not available when Game Mode is on, which is best for gaming? Motionflow or game mode?

White Balance
Adjust the color temperature in detail.

How does a person properly calibrate the color temperature?
