Windows Live (2012) Calendar web vs. local discrepancy
by Timokreontos - 11/6/12 12:18 AM
Issue 1
Using Windows Live Calendar on-line I can select a "Charm" (an icon).
This is not replicated when viewing and using the desktop version of Windows Live (found in Windows Live Essentials)
Issue 2
The on-line "Charm" mentioned above takes up the whole calendar day block and does not show the text from the Event.
Reason: I miss the "Category" field I used in Google Calendar in order to better categorize my Events, and the Charm is the only thing available, but alas does not work when using the desktop version (off-line).
Issue 3
When I log-on to Windows Live using Windows Explorer I can select "Calendar" from the drop-down menu or icons.
When I log-on to Windows Live using Firefox (latest version) I no "Calendar" entry or icon even shows up so I can't get to the calendar at all.
QUESTION Is anyone actually using this stuff?
