Windows Live Mail servers down?

It's 8:15pm (cdt), 8/19/12.
I cannot send/receive e-mail using Windows Live Mail?
I have an older labtop that has Windows Mail, and I'm able to send/receive on that PC?
When using the Windows Live Mail PC, I am being asked for my User Name and Password. I have entered them both correctly, and it still won't send/receive? I know that it worked yesterday (8/18/12).

Like you, I started having trouble in August but that eventually cleared up and now can only send messages from Windows Live. It was working perfectly one day and not at all the next. Did you ever find any solutions?
