Hi my name is Richard from Melbourne Australia.
I have an enormous number of folders in my WLM. Can i quickly transfer all of these to Windows explorer, or do you use WLM storage folders?

Assuming it's mail, what do you mean with 'transferring a mail folder to Windows Explorer'?
And what do you mean with "use a WLM folder"?

Firstly thank you for replying to my question.
Yes it's windows Live Mail. I have a gmail address and lots of folders under it on the left hand side of windows live mail. Instead of just opening each mail item and saving each individual mail item to a folder in Windows explorer, can you just transfer the whole folder to windows explorer.

So you mean making it seperate eml-files in a Windows folder.
In that case, I don't use WLM, so I tried in Thunderbird (another e-mail program). If I've got the folder open (so see all mails in the right pane) I can use the mouse to drag and drop a file to an Explorer Windows. Unluckily, it only works with one mail at the same time. If I select 2, it's forbidden. If I select a folder in the left pane it's forbidden also.
But even one by one it's faster than opening and saving.
Worth a try to see if WLM can do it also.

This does work using minimised windows live mail and minimised windows explorer. Very clever answer. Congratulations. I recommend a nice cold beer. Very well refrigerated and put the glass in there also. I was up in Nth Queensland drinking these. Temperature around 25 degrees celcius. I thought i was in heaven. Melbourne Australia is quite cold and v. boring. give it a miss.

But - just a minor correction - it isn't "minimised". "Minimised" means "only an icon on the taskbar". Maximised is whole screen.
What you mean is the 'normal' way to show a window, as a window. It's "restored" to a window, so to say. http://www.internet4classrooms.com/pc_manage_win.htm tells more.
