Windows Live Mail

I have multiple e-mail accounts, but all have the same actual e-mail address.

How can I get the account names to display in the FROM window that I see on the right side of the compose window? All I see is my actual e-mail address multiple times, one under the other (the same number of times as the number of accounts I have).

Time to report it to MSFT. I think they have a place for that. Let's find it.

http://email.about.com/od/livemaildesktoptips/qt/et_get_support.htm seems to find it for us.

Windows Live Mail Support was the first place I went. Ended up speaking with somebody in India, and the first words out of his mouth were that in ordelr to get an answer (and there was no guarantee that I'd get an answer) it would cost me either $89.95 for a one-time hook-up with someone from Microsoft, or I could pay $149.95 and get telephonic support for one year.

Not for sure, but I suspect the "expert" I would have been transferred to had I ponied up my credit card (which I did not) would have been someone else with a distinctive Indian accent.

Any other suggestions?

That software like this has issues. Many folk want it to be free and without bugs. But we're not here yet.

As the MSFT Live product is not open source we can't pop the hood and see what's wrong or if we can adjust it. So my advice is to look at other software to meet your needs.

Many try Thunderbird next.
