If you reply to the sender how can the address be wrong. If you received the email then the receiver must be correct or the connection would not be made.
result would mean that a software break in dispatching an email is blocked by some other method such as security, format or an altered path, to transmission.

You said "Windows Essentials has a problem with blocking forward and reply with emails". Microsoft Security Essentials is a anti-virus scanner so it will not block forwarded and replied emails if that is what you want it to do. However you can set up rules in Windows Live, (I assume that is what you are using as this post is in the Windows Live forum), and perhaps block those emails that way.

Or perhaps I've misunderstood the problem.

As to the other problem, "Also I've found face book contacts merging in my group emails causing the emails to error when sending out." I have no idea. Where do you keep your Facebook contacts? Can you remove these from your group mail mailing lists?

Sorry but it can be wrong. This is a very old issue with email so do we need to cover this area? I don't mind but in short, it can be wrong.

That is, I could have sent you a bum reply-to entry in my email.

Using system restore works.
This method is the only method that would work for me. Before this update is mandated it needs to be debugged or given a higher priority.

Another problem that is on going is the sorting of received emails. Some will arrive as junk because the email URL is not Live.com or Hotmail probably due to forwarding from those sites. That has been on going for some time.
Also, the email that is intended for spam will often return although it is listed in the spam (junk) file listing returns with the same address (return).
I suggest you create a paid version of Windows Essentials that is totally debugged.
