Make sure you are using the latest version of WLM and that the individuals, with email, addresses, are in your Windows contact list. As you type in the person's first name or nickname, the alphabetical listing of matching contacts should automatically appear.

Thanks for your reply, John. I see now that as I type a letter, all entries with that letter appear, and as I add letters, the list becomes more discreet. In Outlook Express, if I typed the letter 'S', the address book would position at the beginning of the 'S's. Is there a way to change that configuration? I'm old and set in my ways.

Unfortunately, it's not a user-customizable feature, though it is quite a useful feature once you get used to the 'new' way of handling contact lookups.

Thanks. I guess this old dog will need to get used to it. Ah well. If we don't have new challenges, we get stale.
