Windows Live forum: Windows Live Mail Help!

Hello everyone, I have just downloaded Windows Live Mail and installed it successfully.

When I open it, it opens a window entitled "windows installer" saying "Preparing to install".

After that, it opens a window entitled "Windows Live Mail" saying "Please wait while Windows configures Windows Live Mail".

After that, my desktop icons flicker and grow smaller by the tiniest bit.

I have contacted Windows Live, and they have bee no help. They have asked me to :

a) Do a clean removal (deleting registry keys).

b)Re-download the latest version.

c) Rename the message store folder.

I have tried all of those (in order) and nothing works!

OS: Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2.
Processor: AMD Turion 64x2.
Graphics: Nvidia geforce Go 6150 (integrated chipset).
Memory (RAM): 2gb
WLAN: Broadcom 802.11b/g.
Computer: HP Pavillion dv9000z
Antivirus: Norton 360 (used to be Onecare, still the same results.
