Manage updates with the Download App
My HTC Touch Pro 2 (under WM 6.1) has recently begun resetting every
afternoon. I think it's been at the same time of day, but I'll now check
that carefully having noted the time.
This is while conncetd via USB to
my Windows XP PC. I can find nothing in
Scheduled Tasks or anywhere else on my PC or WM device which might be
doing this.
Anyone have any ideas about possible cause please? Or how to isolate it?

It was a model of choice by my client and when the units had trouble they would first hard reset the device (bye bye what they didn't backup) and then would slowly add apps until the trouble app was found.
Yes, painful but for now the only sure way to find it when it's some app.
When that didn't work they would get the unit exchanged (they have them by the thousands.)

Thanks Bob. Reckon it was the power cut yesterday that screwed things up. I went to the settings dialog, clicked Calibrate, and all was OK again!

And please ignore the first part of my reply yesterday, which must have baffled you. It was intended for a totally different thread in another forum, about Google Earth! carelessly clicked adjacent tab in my Firefiox browser. 
This problem of sudden soft reset remains unresolved.

If the full hard reset fails, it's a hardware issue. My client only has a few thousand of these so the process is as I shared it.
