Time issues on Motorola ES400

Hi,

I have just completed the rollout of 60 Motorola ES400 handsets which have been upgraded from HTC P6500s & I am experiencing some issues with the time on the handsets. The time is correct on the handset & then the operator logs into the 1st Touch application which performs a PDA time check with our server & then rolls the time on the handset back an hour. This issue has only been happening since the recent GMT/BST time change as the handsets were fine before.

Has anyone else come across thie issue?

We were sent a registry fix by Motorola but we are still have the same issue.

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

I hate to admit that I author a few WinMo apps and this one has popped up year after year. It's all about the Windows idea of time and how there is no central authority on time. But that should not be interesting to anyone but a programmer.

With so many, it's time to toss it back at Mot.

HOWEVER the time zone patches get wiped out on hard resets and does not work until you change the TZ to something else and back!
