Windows Mobiles - Are all of them touch screen?

Hey guys,

I appreciate in advance your contribution to the community dealing with Windows Mobiles!

In between, my question is:

Can I assume that all the Windows Mobiles are touch screen devices? I am about to develop an application using Adobe FlashLite where I expect users to interact with the application by tapping on screens rather than using conventional navigational keys ? My target audience is one with the Windows OS!

Just finished a few WM apps.

It is rare to not have a touch screen. The non touch screen units didn't penetrate the market so it's fairly safe that you'll be ok.

BTW, my apps are in VS2008, C sharp and .NET. It's a really great system to work in. But then again I've been programming since pre-assembler days.

1.) Many non-touch screen WM devices included some sort of mousing capability, using arrow keys or a trackpad, so the chances of your application not working are most likely acceptably low.

2.) Windows Phone 7 is coming out later this year, leaving compatibility behind. Keep that in mind, for you may find yourself developing two entirely different versions in order to support both today's and tomorrow's devices.
