Windows mobile devices from qvga or vga work the same (with some changes in a few little systems between phones (like the enchanced gps on samsung and other phones with the quickgps for htc).
but theres a solution to the autoconnect-problem outside your only country.
then manage existing internet connections (click the link)
make a new connection but do not add any options to it.
set the "empty internet connection" as default.
and taddaaaa you can only go online by making the standard bandconnection (like vodafone live, t-mobile zones, etc.)default again.
but thanks for these "don't know what to say so i give him a there-are-so-many-types of windows mobile phones". because for real differences are only made between the omniascreensize, 320x320, the basic size with QVGA and VGA screen control on the different phones but the screen sizes and QVGA-VGA settings mostly don't make sense since the the program i searcht sticks in system properties. the differences between your windows mobile phone and your friends phone aren't greater than me having an acer aspire with windows 7 (with added features for acer with added options for video/sound) and my friends HP paviljon with win7(and added properies for his soundcard/videocard). some things like keyboard and screen are different but the "core" system stays the same.
