WWN0 device unloaded, cannot start
by dalai_lamia - 4/30/09 3:30 PM
Hello,
I am having the following problem:
WWN0 device is listed as unloaded and when I try to activate it I get "the system cannot find the file specified".
I have inspected the registry but since I'm not an expert I cannot tell if everything is fine there (see image).
The file "wwan.dll" which is to be started IS in the Windows folder.
The device is a W-Zero3 by Sharp, running WM5.
I have had the problem for about 3 weeks now - I actually found out about the unloaded device yesterday - but it's since about then that my Fring, Google Maps and Pocket IE will not start because of "no data connection".
This is strange because my Wi-Fi is ON and I can surf the web as fluently as ever, Skype works, and I can even quickly connect and use FTP and LAN from the device.
I hope there is a solution and someone to share it. Thanks!
