Dell Lattitude e6520 numlock issue

Dell Lattitude e6520 64
WIN 7 Pro 64

I am unable to activate the Num Key pad. It is a dedicated numeric keypad(not embedded).

I cannot locate anywhere online etc the function (Fn) keystroke combination that toggles the keypad. I did find this issue discussed for e6410...but I don't know if that num keypad is embedded...

(please seed below) I've tried Fn+F4...no good. I've gone into the BIOS and confirmed "Numerical Keypad enabled"

Any suggestions?

F2 key during POST to get into BIOS.
F12 Boot device menu.
Fn + F1 Sleep/Hiberate per power management settings.
Fn + F2 Switch battery charger on/off.
Fn + F3 DCP Power Manager Battery Status.
Fn + F4 Switch Num Lk on/off.
Fn + F5 Switch Scroll Lock on/off.
Fn + F7 Launches DCP(Dell Control Point).
Fn + F8 Switch between laptop screen and external display.
Fn + D Switch display off/on. Helps save the battery without shutting machine down.
Fn + Z Reset fan temperature table and sensor.
Fn + ? keyboard illumination off/on.
Fn + ? Switch Display Ambient Light Sensor off/on (brightness varies with ambient lighting).

And is this the OS that Dell shipped with it?

There may be more questions but if it never worked, it's a warranty issue.

http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/f/3518/p/19311390/19615720.aspx#19615720 notes the BIOS setup needed. I can't tell if you did that.

There is a very small very unobtrusive key on the keypad with a padlock icon...duh...could not see it in the dark...BUT...in the morning light everything seems to make better sense shocked...
