Printer Problem

I have an Alienware Aurora (Windows Home 7 - 64 bit) and when my old printer died I bought a new one but cannot get it setup - drivers would not load - bought a new printer and the same problem - anyone have this problem or any ideas??

I'd ask the maker to help and if they fail, return the printer.

I do not know what other info to give - but since I did return the 1st printer and bought another one that had the same problem I can say its the computer and not the printers

And the printer maker will not help. Then back it goes for good.

We can't discuss this because the details are missing. A lot of the members here may be able to help but without the details and if you followed the directions for installing (example that everyone ignores next) then it's just another defective product.

-> Here's a common one. The printer makers may tell us to disable firewalls and antivirus during the printer driver install. Some require an internet connection. I think most folk will ignore that.

we need more information to check what's the real cause. We can assume but assumptions are not the best way to figure out what is really going on.

your PC is Alienware Aurora (Windows Home 7 - 64 bit) but you didn't inform us what printer you have. Are you using a disc to install drivers or you download over the internet.

And please include the error message you see upon installing printer. So what we can determine what resolution we can advise to you..

I'm just trying to help. : )
