Audio Issues Dell Inspirion 1019

i have a Dell Inspirion All in one 1019. A week ago the sound just went out. It has the red circle with white x next to audio icon, and says no audio device detected. Can I get some assistance PLEEEEAASSSSEE!! Called Dell, not in Warranty so no luck there.

System restore does not work-only has dates where it wasn't working

https://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/insduo/en/sg/sg_en.pdf and on about page 58 or 59 details what options you have to restore the OS.
